Music speaks to me in ways that no other words can. Sometimes when things get tough, I find a song that speaks to my situation and encourages me, and I curl up and dwell in that particular song for a while.
Earlier this week, a friend reminded me of an old hymn, one we used to sing at my church when I was very young. The lyrics are so simple, yet so powerful. In times of uncertainty, it is truly sweet to know that we can trust in Jesus, and that He is with us till the end, no matter what.
Every word of God is pure: He is a
shield unto them that put their trust in Him.
Proverbs 30:5
